Hi Karen,

I just wanted to send a quick email to say thank you so much for all of the hard work and effort you have put into the art exhibition. It is a massive job, and I hope you know that it is greatly appreciated. As a family, we are really looking forward to the event and sharing in the progress of all of the students this year. 

I also wanted to say a big thank you for being such a wonderful teacher. Mitchell absolutely loves coming to his weekly art class. His art has developed so much this year, and the increased confidence in his own ability is lovely to see. He has made some lovely new friends, and enjoys seeing them each week and sharing his love of art with them. He will often comment on what a great teacher you are, and how you always explain things in an easy to understand way. 

As a parent I love that you have a positive comment for every single student as they walk out of your class each week. It is so nice to have a teacher who acknowledges each child for their individual strengths.  I have also noticed Mitchell using some of his "new found" skills from art class (such as forward planning, drafting ideas, and generating lists of materials and steps required) when completing other tasks or projects (both at home and school). This is something he would not have done before. 

Thank you for sharing your love and passion of art with the students and for helping them to continue along their creative journey. 

I look forward to seeing the finished products tomorrow night.
